Scientology Old-Timers - Participation

Activity Yahoo E-Mail List

Anyone can join. Hopefully lots will. But this activity isn't for confused newbies - although they are welcome to listen in and ask questions. The activity isn't for anti-church or anti-management rants - although Old-Timers in particular are free to express any opinion they have without, hopefully, scaring everyone else away. Oldest-Timers get the Royal Treatment with kid gloves. Old-Timers that worked directly with Ron get carte blanche. Anyone that worked with Ron owns this nexus. Anyone that had contact with Ron will have to work hard to prove they don't belong here. Lookie Loo's are all on permanent probation.

On the other hand, we are not trying to construct another alter to Ron. We are, rather, trying to recapture and record a little of the excitement and elan of the early days when the possibilities were boundless, the excitement at a fever pitch and the faith that tomorrow would be better was unalloyed by can't s and shouldn't s.

If you wish to look things over a bit, here is the yahoo page for the e-mail part of the activity: Scientology Old-Timers.

If you are all set to join in, then:

Activity - Web Site

This web site will probably start out with an alphabetic index of biographies and remembrances of people. Pat Krenik has agreed to moderate the yahoo list. She is a gracious lady in her 7th decade and will likely be the first biographic subject. A good job with her should make it safe for others to participate. Hopefully the whole thing will be fun for the Old-Timers and fascinating to the newer-timers.

The Church of Scientology maintains a limited scope old-timer web site called: traditionaldianetics.org. It is an aesthetically pleasing site but lacks the depth and grit that an independent unvarnished site report might provide.
