Scientology Old-Timers - Statement of Purpose

Funk and Wagnalls Standard Dictionary, Comprehensive, International Edition, New York, USA. 1969.

The primary purpose of this Scientology Old-Timer activity is the dissemination of an idea. The idea is that: Scientology belongs to everyone.

Over the past half a century, many have read and studied the subject of Scientology. Those that have run an engram, utilized the relationship between A, R and C, or merely wished it's principles could be used to make life better for all - are Scientologists.

Many Scientologists have been encouraged to view themselves as non-Scientologists by those that would narrow the definition of a Scientologist down to the few who agree entirely and only with them. The narrowing nature of their definition, combined with the requirement of 'all or nothing' agreement, is the road to an extinction of the subject.

To understand, use, command or agree with any part of the subject of Scientology, is to be a Scientologist.

To be a non-Scientologist one must agree with both the designation and the designator.

This Scientology Old-Timer Activity is for anyone who has interest. It is for non-Scientologists and Scientologists of any strip.

It is an effort to facilitate communications and put pen to paper before time renders events subjective and more difficult to access.

The result of the communication and the web site will be the perception that anyone can be a Scientologist, that being a Scientologist can produce a great deal of variety in character and opinion, that Scientology belongs to anyone and everyone that wishes to own any part of it.
